Yvonne is The Boss! Fitness obsessed and competitive by nature Yvonne loves to come top of the Apple Watch leader board and what better way to get her steps in. Yvonne had a dream to escape working in an office which she has done since she left college and become her own boss and a random comment by a friend "why not take in pampered poochies" and the dream began. The planning and execution of Yvonne's dream began in October 2019 however Covid 19 has meant lots of delays with planning and getting the work required completed Finally after 20 months of waiting we opened in June 2021.

Here at the farm there is Carl, Yvonne, Oliver and Josh. The farm has been here for over 25 years and is a working farm with cows, sheep and free range chickens.  We have farm dog Tess, Elvis the pamper pooch, Fly who is currently in training with Oliver to herd the ewes and lambs and save our legs and our latest addition is Sunny " The Staffie ".

Oliver has been doing his Animal Welfare courses at Kendal college.  Carl, when he finds a spare minute and is not running the farm is on hand to help in the hotel. Josh is still at school but helps out in the evenings, weekends and holidays. 

As for Tess,  Elvis and Sunny !! they think every day is a holiday, unfortunately everyday is a working day for Fly. 

Oliver has been working on the farm since he left school and started up the kennels with his Mum Yvonne in 2021.  He loves all dogs but is especially fond of Staffies.
